Well. That isn't the word I would use for it, but people who don't know sfeer theory have made the comparison before.

It's not a magic 'do-all'. Sfeer theory is more of a science than magic, truthfully. If you understand the mechanics behind it, then the inputs and outputs are all very predictable. Fire is made by speeding up the movement of molecules to the point where they ignite, for example. Wind is made by changing the air pressure in the area around oneself to influence where the air molecules move to...
