[ Molly doesn't seem to be offended - if anything he leans into the touch. If he's reached his neck though, he might notice a bright red eye-shaped mark, blended into the peacock feathers on his neck. Hell, at this point if Luca is being shy about it, Molly will reach over and guide his wrist up. Keep going. ]
It would hurt like a fucker. Could always try the ass. Pretty meaty there.
[That sure is a bright red eye. Luca lets his hand be guided, and he ends up tracing the feather patterns up Molly's neck, but that eye still catches his attention.]
Hm? Oh, just a . . . what are they called? I was born with it. A birthmark.
[He sort of. Rolls away at that point, but only so Luca can see the back of his shoulders which are just as extravagant. Between his shoulder blades and spanning his back is an eye in a golden pyramid, surrounded by the phases of the moon, alchemical sigils, stars. It looks deeply expensive.]
[Hm! Molly's answer combined with how there's more than one and they're practically hidden in the designs makes Luca think he's trying to cover something up.
Luca gets the feeling that he doesn't know Molly well enough yet to ask and get an honest answer. So he sets that mystery to the back of his mind for now, and resolves to get to know Molly better first. His curiosity can be satiated later.]
Where are you thinking to put your next bit of work? Your back is pretty full.
[He did immediately just zigzag away from that question, yeah. As for whether or not he'll get an honest answer . . . maybe eventually? Who's to say.]
Mm, not sure! I've always got my chest, but, surely have to save that for something special. Then my legs, not much on there as of now. Plenty of canvas to work with.
Your chest should absolutely be saved for something special. As for the legs...actually, if you draw a sfeer pattern so that it circles around your leg that might be interesting. Picking the right one would be the challenge there.
[And since he's sure nobody elseknows about sfeer theory, he'll take his hands off of Molly's back to lean into him and drape his arms over Mollly's shoulders. Then he forms a circle with his thumbs and index fingers, which he holds up in front of Molly for the man to see.
He could have moved to be in front of Molly, but this lets them be pressed closely for a bit. And Luca likes even nonsexual touching.]
Sfeer patterns are what help maintain a sfeer's shape. Someone can possibly make a sfeer without the patterns, but it is a lot harder to do spontaneously as opposed to with sfeer patterns. They form circular shapes, and the placing of all the lines and patterns indicates what you are trying to do with your sfeer. Some let you make fire, others control the wind, and still others can freeze or influence people.
It's one of the more difficult branches of science, but it's well worth the effort to memorize the chalk patterns.
[Speedrunning Molly isn't that hard, he likes people and he especially likes this nerdass little speech he just got, even though he's got a deeply blank expression (Luca probably can't see it, but it would give the impression of someone who's really struggling to activate their brain cell) until he hits the part about making fire and what not! Because, oh! Duh. He knows what magic is.]
Well. That isn't the word I would use for it, but people who don't know sfeer theory have made the comparison before.
[Normally the wizard comment would annoy him, but Luca's being charitable here because other worlds here.]
It's not a magic 'do-all'. Sfeer theory is more of a science than magic, truthfully. If you understand the mechanics behind it, then the inputs and outputs are all very predictable. Fire is made by speeding up the movement of molecules to the point where they ignite, for example. Wind is made by changing the air pressure in the area around oneself to influence where the air molecules move to...
[He will. Ramble on about this for a while if he's not stopped. Pretend it's science talk I never got past high school biology.]
[While Luca is being a big ol' nerd, Molly will just lean back into him and get comfortable? Might as well. He doesn't mind someone rambling at him but this is well and truly beyond him because the wizard boy is now just talking about doing wizard things and he's daydreaming patterns in chalk.
Eventually, after he keeps going, Molly will occasionally give him a mhm or a huh as you do in polite conversation.]
. . . Sometimes I simply think the right thoughts and make a few hand gestures and people do as I like.
Influence sounds different from what we do. With sfeer theory, you can control the actions one does, but it doesn't affect their mind. They are fully aware of what is going on and can actually fight back against the effects. It's a matter of which willpower is stronger as to who wins that fight.
Exactly. Injuries can happen elsewhere, but a face is one of the most important features on a man. How you look can affect your life in ways you never would have imagined.

Is the eye inside the golden pyramid another one of those red eyes? Because that tattoo sounds very nice but now he's curious about red eyes.]
