Soon enough they're drawing a bath, and Luca is undressing and carefully folding his clothes to set them neatly on the counter. Look at that perfectly nice stack of clothes there.]

If there's one thing I like about the future, it's all the interesting soaps they have here.

yuri is not so picky and neat about it -- his clothes are kept in a semi-neat pile, but he doesn't fold them perfectly and into squares or anything. he'll just focus on getting the bath filled up for the moment as well. ]

All the different smelling ones? [ he'll reach over and grab one of them himself, turning it over in his hands. ] There's definitely no excuse for anyone to show up anyway smelling bad, that's for sure.

Mmm, you're right.

[He grabs one of the bottles and goes to settle into the tub. He sighs in contentment as he settles into the warm water. He won't just sprawl out in the tub though, he's leaving room for Yuri to get in.]

I'm not sure what "wolfthorn" is, but it smells quite nice.

It's kind of strong...? There's such a weird mix of delicate scents and then really strong ones. I wonder why.

[ let's be real he's probably used to the strong scents that cover up smells, thanks medieval times. ]

Then again, we're never at a loss for water here, so maybe delicate smells are more popular.

If you don't have to go days between baths, then you can probably afford to use a more delicate scent.

[Luca, for one, is loving bathing every day. Even just a shower is so much better than nothing.

Also he's going to scoop a handful of water up to dump on top of Yuri's head.]

[ the showering and bathing thing is very nice. yuri could get behind this. he does squawk a little when luca dumps water over him -- at least it's not cold or someone would be getting shoved out of the bath. ]

[He chuckles at that squawk, though. No bath-shoving today, he's just getting Yuri's hair wet.]

[Luca does love playing with Yuri's hair. He's going to take his time getting it wet, bringing up handful after handful of water to wet it.]

The only thing better than bathing is having someone else pamper you, hmm?

[ this is probably some kind of indulgence points for luca, huh? well. it's not like yuri minds it, so he'll just lean back into luca's hands a little. ]

It does make the whole experience more enjoyable, yeah.

[Actually that reminded me that I need to go fill out indulgences for the week whoops.]

Luca is keeping it tame though, no sneaking kisses or anything. They're here to relax, after all.]

[ he doesn't like owing people, after all. besides, playing with someone else's hair is pretty relaxing too. ] You're not going to turn into a hissy cat about me touching your hair?

[His tone implies that Yuri should take it as a high honor.]

[He'll lean in to nip at Yuri's nape, though not hard enough to leave a mark.]

[ well, there's his seal of approval. yuri laughs. ]

Alright, alright. I'll be appropriately awed when I get to wash your hair.

Do take care with it, when you get the chance. I take a lot of pride in it.

[So much so that he could have ended up in Pride! But yeah he's making sure to soap up even the long bits of Yuri's hair.]

It's actually one of the few things I've always had at least some control over. For as much as my life was decided for me, I at least got that freedom. So long as I didn't get too outlandish with it.

Ahhh, that's why you're so particular about it.

[ he tilts his head back so luca can get to all the suds a little easier. it makes sense. if so much of your life is out of your control, it makes sense that he's so fixated on the one thing he has any say over. ]

I'll be very careful with it then.

I appreciate it.

[His touch is gentle as he works the soap into Yuri's hair, and it's equally gentle when he starts cupping up handfuls of water to rinse said soap out.]

It's lucky I don't yet grow much facial hair. I wouldn't be able to stomach keeping any such growth on my face, and I'm sure they would insist on me keeping it if I could grow a decent mustache.

Make sure you put your foot down over that one. I can imagine you'll look much better without any facial hair.
