Not if it's a very tall umbrella. They are sometimes called parasols, actually.

[ he's going to flop onto the sand under the umbrella anyway, and lift a hand to shield his eyes from the sun when he looks back at luca. ]

[Well, Yuri won't be blinded for too long. Luca might be moving to sit next to Yuri, but he's definitely leaning over him a bit, peering down at Yuri with a grin on his face. His hair is a mess and still wet from the water, but for once he's not paying much attention to it. Mostly because his attention is completely taken up by Yuri.]

You weren't wrong before: purple and red can make a lovely pair, if done properly.

[He's reaching up to tuck a bit of Yuri's bangs behind his ear, but then he lets his fingers trail down the side of Yuri's face.]

I think I would like to apply that shade myself though, rather than relying on the sun to get it right.

[ he drops the hand covering his eyes when luca moves to block out the sun, and folds his hands on his stomach instead. as funny as it had been to mess up luca's hair, it's actually different in a good way to see him looking less put together and more ... well. maybe relaxed isn't the word overall, but appearance wise? it looks more relaxed. ]

[ hmmm. subconsciously, he leans into the movement of luca's fingers running down his face. ]

[Maybe it's more natural, without the forced smile and millions of attempts to get his hair and clothes just perfect. This is a Luca who's not performing for anyone, he's just being himself. The overthinking, anxiety-riddled mess he can be, though minus the anxiety at the moment because he's actually pretty relaxed.]

[Time to slide over and straddle Yuri's waist so he's in a better position to work Yuri up.

Something something time passes and half an hour later he's just going to be sweaty and tired and very satisfied with himself as he drapes over Yuri like a human-blanket.]

and now yuri is being draped on but he's not really bothered about moving. he's mostly gone back to messing around with luca's hair, long given up on trying to tame it and more focued on teasing out knots and coils from the combination of sea water and fresh air. ]

[It's fine, nobody's popping in to ask about the simulation room, they can clean up later.

Luca's hair does seem to get wavy when it's wet though! And he doesn't seem to mind the feeling of Yuri's fingers in his hair, especially since Yuri is straightening out his hair for him.]

I'll have to get it trimmed soon.

I have no idea how you're going to do the back by yourself but I'll be sure to critique the results most harshly.

[ this is probably a good clarification to have because he is still just trying to untangle this unholy mess of sea-water damaged and sex hair. ]

You know, I hadn't considered that. A haircut might have to wait until we're out of here after all. Hopefully you can tolerate a disheveled mess of hair.

[As if Luca would let his hair stay unkempt. Though he is doing a good job staying still so Yuri can untangle his hair. It seems like the best way to get Luca to sit still is to bone the energy out of him first.]

Maybe I'll be personally offended by it.

[ amazing. who knew tiring a guy out would make him calm down and let you play with his hair? it's looking a little less like he swam backwards through a coral reef at least, but it is still a two hand job to ease some of the knots loose. ]

Although hopefully we won't be stuck here so long that we end up having to hack at our hair with scissors. [ which is... what he does anyway but he does it with style and help from people who he trusts not to fuck it up. ]
