The difference in what everyone knows is too varied to assume we all come from the same timeframe, at the very least. Incomprehensible as it might be to consider. And while our technological knowledge might be more similar, maybe we're not even from the same place or time as each other.
I think this means we need to learn as much as we can about this new technology and use it frequently.

They talk about appropriate punishments too. I mean, it could be sarcasm? But it's indepth sarcasm. There's always a chance someone's idea of indulgence goes a bit too far.
