[You know, Childe's not always the best team player, but in this case, it's convenient! There are indulgence points to be had, and anyway, they have some fun language lessons to get to. Memories? What memories? Who cares about memories, it's fine. Childe has nothing(?) to hide.
[It doesn't take him long to answer the door! Childe's dressed down in his own room, just in his button-down and pants (and his Harbinger mask of course, don't ask how it sticks in his hair. Magic!!).]
Come in, come in. Would you like anything? [He has None Roommate now so the mini-kitchen is properly supplied with a couple different kinds of booze, but he has tea and water as well, if Luca would prefer.]
[Well, if Luca wants to get started right away, then he's happy to oblige! The extra effort it takes to speak Non-Jamjar Language is worth the sound of--not quite his mother tongue, but close enough. He waves Luca over to the mini kitchen; there's some orange vodka, some osmanthus wine, and some Snezhnayan fire-water, because the mods were nice and said I could have it.]
[Luca is a quick learner and is always eager to pick up new things, so him trying to speak fantasy!Russian is an easy choice for him. He'll go over to the kitchen and look through the options, considering. The first two look familiar-ish, but that last one. Hm.]
Also Luca is going to take a sip, and then he has to fight to keep it in his mouth. There's definitely a moment where it looks like he might spit it out, but he fights to keep it in. Then he swallows it, makes a face, and speaks:]
[Okay, he was halfway through taking another drink but that comment startles a laugh out of him, and he has to cover his mouth in order to not choke. LUCA.]
Is that so...? [He can't actually decide if this is a compliment or not??] They do say appearances are deceiving.
