[Luca is silent for a fair while, all the way until they get to the simulation room. But as he's looking over the control panel, he finally speaks up again:]

Sometimes. I try not to, the Valentino family would not be happy if I sullied their name. But I'm in another country and sometimes you have to throw in with unscrupulous people.

It's not something you need to be apologising for. I just said it doesn't matter to me what people think. [ and there's nothing in his voice to suggest he's lying. ]

[Luca smiles, and he spends a few moments setting up a rather nice dinner view for them.]

I know we can't eat anything here, but it's more the atmosphere that counts.

I'm angling to enjoy a lovely sunset with an equally lovely man. You start to miss the small things like that, when you're locked in a building with no windows.

I'm used to not seeing much sunlight. But it is funny how you miss something more when you literally can't have it, rather than choose not to have it.

Isn't it? That's when you truly appreciate the small things.

There's probably some philosophical saying for all this, but I'm not sure I believe half of that navel gazing anyway.

Don't obsess over it, but don't forget it either. Balance is always a pretty good choice.

Sometimes you can do both at the same time.

Sometimes you can. But I've spent two years overworking, I think I can spend a couple weeks playing instead.
