Fixing cities, fuelling monsters, what can't indulging do? [ i should probably mention that yuri has wrath eyes right now -- black sclera, molten red-orange pupils and red smokiness around the eyes themselves now. interestingly, that'll be gone before the end of today. ]

I thought you didn't realise it wasn't the regular time we'd all wake up. But if someone was targeting you, would pretending to be asleep have worked?

Also Luca's hair is moving around right now, floating and curling and being prehensile. He's trying his best to ignore it.]

Probably not. I'll never know for certain, since she refused to answer any questions.

...part of me still wants to know why she chose to kill me out of everyone. But at the same time, I can guess that there was no actual reason, beyond "if people are going to die, it's not going to be someone I personally want to live."

Could be. She wasn't happy the week Mahito died, although most of us were more than fine with it. Sometimes the reasoning isn't going to make it any better even if you do know it.

No, I shouldn't pay her any mind. I should be spending whatever little time I have left here with the people I actually want to think about. I deserve that much after four weeks of harassment from serial killers.

I don’t claim to know or care what her relationship to that curse is. If it troubled her to lose him, then good.

[ he’ll grab his wrist and instead of veering to the infinity closet he takes a different door and ends up...

This only opened up last week alongside the closet. This one has a shark though, but she seems quite chill. Not that I’ve actively bothered her.

Luca is actually speechless for a moment as he looks out over the sand and waves. It's not the same beach he showed Yuri several weeks ago, but this feels more real. Even if he logically knows they're on a spaceship and not anywhere near the ocean, it feels real.]

...we had one too, over where we were. It was one of the few nice things we got over there.

[It's not what he thinks of when he looks at this beach, though. Instead he's thinking further back, to a time when they walked along the sand hand-in-hand, and took a nap under a big umbrella...]

So I heard. It's a bit different to the simulation one, even if it's still not a real beach on a real coastline.

[ it's been nice coming here, amid everything. again, shame it wasn't on a lower floor or he would've spent a lot more time here since the start of all these. ]

Although you wouldn't be able to will your hair back to normal here, even if it seems to be moving around enough to dry itself off anyway. [ he reaches up and gives one of the waving locks a little pull ]

[He intends on doing that still, especially now that his death might not be permanent.

His hair has been waving around lazily so far, but as soon as Yuri goes to tug on a lock of hair it will try to curl around his finger like it's giving said finger a hug. This is when Luca visibly falters.]

-pay that no mind, I can't control it like this. It has a mind of its own.

There's an incentive to get out of this in one piece then, isn't there?

... well. honestly? it just makes him laugh. he tugs his finger, and the hair back slightly, not enough to sting just to pull. ] I know. I've seen Little-A without the hood up enough by now.

[The hair seems insistent on holding onto Yuri, but it is also just hair so it doesn't have too much of a grip strength. He can tug all he wants though.]

At least her hair is long, that makes it look graceful. This just looks like a mess.

[ he has a permit to mess with luca's hair, so he's not moving his hand away. it's fine. it's actually kind of relaxing? ]

It looks cute. Don't worry about it. It's supposed to stop if you actually indulge, isn't it? Or was that just for us on this side?

[He does have a permit, which is why Luca isn't complaining. He gave out that permit himself, he knows he can't revoke it because his hair is being silly.]

I suspect it would, but I, er. I haven't indulged in anything Lust-related this week. So I don't know for certain.

[ he can't, this is yuri's right now. ]

There's wiggle room around it, I think. Flattery, and stuff like that rather than always the obvious choice.

You say that, but the obvious choice is the most fun.

[He sighs, and he reaches up to tuck some hair behind his ear. Said hair immediately frees himself, and he glowers and lets his hand drop down again.]

It's probably for the best that I stop with that anyway. Everyone else has been getting into romantic entanglements and I don't have it in me to bother anyone who's committed to someone else.

Yes, but sometimes you need a little work around.

[ he laughs at that and lifts his other hand for luca's hair to waft at. ]

Even with the need to indulge? People have been fairly flexible with it here, over risking the whole death from not indulging thing. Or, that's been my take on it so far.

We didn't have to do our specific aspects. Trust me, there was plenty of wrath, envy, and despair to go around.

[His hair starts to curl around that hand too, and Luca looks thoroughly embarrassed.]

I swear I don't know why it's doing that. It's never been clingy before.

I can imagine. [ having to figure out wrath indulgences was a lot for him, yo. ]

It's been like this all week? [ he really doesn't seem bothered by the wafty, clingy hair. ]

Mmm, since Monday. And I trust it's the same for your eyes?

[If Yuri is paying attention, the wafty bits of hair curl around in just the right way to make brief hearts every now and then.]

Pretty much. It was just the eyes at first, but it's been spreading out since then -- [ he gestures at the red around his eyes ]-- to this.

[ he's always paying attention. he taps one of them with his finger. ]

[It's so sad :( Then again it happened right about the time he caught a feeling so he wasn't AS sad about it.]

Well, if you want to fix your eyes then perhaps I could help? I'd rather not physically fight, but there are other ways to get Wrath indulgences, right?

[That one curls around his finger too. Luca seems unaware that it's making hearts, he only knows his hair is grabbing onto Yuri.]
