But yes, he is falling down into the water with a yelp. It's shallow enough for him to keep his head above the water though.

A moment later, he's grabbing for Yuri's hand to try and tug him into the water too.]

[Oh no time to get knocked back and swallow a mouthful of seawater and choke on it. He's left sitting up and gasping for air now. But he doesn't let go of Yuri, interestingly enough.]

[Luca is combing a hand through his hair, trying to make himself look presentable.]

[ hold up fusspot, yuri'll hook some of the more flyaway damp bits back into something like their right place, just give him a moment. ]

No really, there's a moment there where Yuri's hand is tucking that bit of hair back, and Yuri is right there and it feels bright and warm in his chest and it's not because of the simulation sunlight beaming down on them.

In that moment it's like something clicks into place. And Luca is mentally freezing, because oh.

So that's what that feels like.

[But Luca is used to covering up his true feelings. It's a mask he has worn for a long, long time. So he just smiles as he forces those butterflies and warmth down deep into his gut. Time to not think about feelings at all!]

If it all goes away when we shut the simulation off, then there's a lot we could do.

[ yuri's focused on making sure he's got... well. as much of luca's hair under control as he can. he can remember how fussy he's been literally every single time his hair has come up in conversation, so he's tucking another curl back into place and trying to flatten some of the pieces on the top of his head that look like they've been backwards through a hedge in this whole process.

maybe luca just won't realise his hair looks like this. or maybe he'll just be okay with the fact the it's a simulation and it'll be back to normal when they leave. ]

[It's not perfect and Luca will probably realize that eventually, but for now he's sufficiently distracted. An increased heartbeat and a desire to hide said heartbeat will do that.]

[It's about to get all messed up again, because Luca is grinning and attempting to dive forward and fall on Yuri, to dunk Yuri in the water.

They're both sitting right now so it's more like "falling onto Yuri," but details.]

[ luca you noodle. well. yuri will get off balanced a little, but he doesn't fall into or under the water so i guess they're just a tangle now.

and then yuri cups and dumps more water on his head. ]

But he will also get his revenge by getting handfuls of water to dump on Yuri's head too.]

[ he's cut off by the mini-deluge of water so he just splutters, but it doesn't distract him for long. he'll even flip his hair in a less shaggy dog and more hair model way to get it out of his face so enjoy that, luca. ]

[You may think he is about to make a lewd suggestion, but no. Simulation room can simulate magic too, and Yuri is touching Luca. Which means Luca can give a little flourish of his hand and summon up a large bubble of water.

Which will hover right over Yuri's head and then drop right on him.

All of this is done in a very small radius though, all within three feet of Luca. Any further out and there is no reaction whatsoever.]

well. yuri makes a sort of choked sound of surprise when the water drops onto him with a splash. and then, after the initial shock of it all wears of, he just tackles luca back into the water. i can't even make "drown, nerd" jokes because he's actually going to die in like two days i hate this family.

he'll be interested in the sfeer theoring in a moment let him have his revenge. ]

[The tackle-revenge is fine, Luca is laughing as he goes down. He might end up with some water up his nose but that's fine. This is all really funny for him.

He'll hold onto Yuri though, so that if Yuri wants to get out of the water to breathe he'll have to take Luca with him.]
