It sounds nice, but the skeptic in me has trouble believing in that kind of luck. Hopefully that doesn't mean someone is manipulating the situation to get her into trouble.

[Sorry Yuri, he has to be.

But oh hey, they're at the simulation room! And that means it's time to pull up a simulation of the beach!]

[ he blinks when everything changes into a beach scene, lifting his arm to shield his ears from the fake sunshine blazing down on them. ]

... Where's this?

It's a beach. One of the ones we used to visit when I was growing up, actually. For a month or so every summer we would stay in the apartments over there-

[He points to one of the buildings further up the coastline.]

-and come down to the waters all the time. I haven't been in years though, not since I finished school.

[ he squints through the shade provided by his arm at the apartments luca points to, and then back out at the water. ]

... I'm not sure if I've ever been to the beach. I've heard of how pretty the ocean is, but it must be nice visiting somewhere like this regularly.

We could even put some swimsuits on and go in the water.

Better than nothing, especially while we're stuck here.

[ he glances over at luca with a slight laugh. ] I'm not against the idea.

Now I just have to figure out how to make it change our clothes...

[Can they poof clothes? Hopefully. Because Luca is about to look fabulous. ]

I guess just wish really hard to find out, you might need you hand on the panel for it though.

[ hopefully so, that's what I'm going with. fe mobile game says that fire emblems have normal swimsuits though so... ]

When you're done, I can give it a go myself.

[Touching the panel is a go, as is a horrible striped swimsuit. It's unsexy but Luca accepts it as the norm for swimwear.]

I know it's rather pointless, given how we've seen each other naked before, but it would feel odd to not have a swimsuit on at the beach.

[ yuri will put his hand on the panel as well -- but his swimsuit is going to be much, much more ... well. modern i guess. thanks fire emblem mobage for doing this to me? ]

I'm sure some people have swum nude in the past, Luca. [ but he's in his swim wear, so... ]

But if it's the norm, I'll stick to the norm.

[Enjoy ur swimming trunks, Yuri. They definitely make Luca stare for a moment before he clears his throat and looks away.

And then he. Puts his hand back on the panel and changes to match Yuri in swinsuit style. Though his trunks are still striped like the old timey swimsuit he had a moment ago.]

Hey, it was cute. You didn't have to change.

I do feel a bit exposed right now, but it looks good on both of us.

[He is SHIRTLESS this is more than he usually bears in public, even at the beach.]

That’s supposed to be how to goes at the beach. Covering up with more fabric when you’re going swimming will only weigh you down.

I suppose that's true. Though women would be more affected by that, no? Considering how heavy their dresses can get.

[Still, he's heading down to the water now. Time to go for a swim in simulation-water!]

You had like a full mini-suit thing on a second ago. Most women just wear a one or two piece swim suit and that's enough.

[ he'll take another look around at the location over all, before following luca down to the waterfront. he's almost not sure what to expect from all of thism-- the simulation continues to be so much more real than he can ever expect, but the feeling of water running over his feet is certainly enough to make him blink in surprise. ]

[Drowning is indeed a hazard in his time. It's why many people avoid the beach.

But Luca is not one of those who fears the water, and he'll step right in along with Yuri. He only goes to about ankle-deep, as the water is cool and takes a bit to get used to, but he's grinning as he wiggles his toes in the wet sand and foamy waves that lap at his calves.]

It feels so real, doesn't it?

Please tell me it wasn't full on dresses, that'd be ridiculous.

[ yuri shifts his foot through the water, noting the feel of the waves against his skin and the change in temperature. ]

Hard to believe it's not, really. I know it isn't, but what I'm feeling and what seeing disputes it.

Oh no, of course not! They only went to about knee-length. Though the women do have a bodysuit not unlike a man's underneath that.

[Luca will move a bit closer to Yuri and use his own foot to dump some wet sand on top of Yuri's foot.]

I don't know how they do it. Part of me wonders if this actually is real after all.

[ ... ]

That isn't any better Luca, that's so much fabric.

[ wow? assault? ]

Maybe that's the danger of it. Stay here long enough and you might forget what's real and what's not. [ and then he's just splashing Luca with sea water. ha. ]

[Dork. Luca jumps a bit when he's splashed, but he's quick to grin and start kicking water at Yuri.]

True. I could stay here forever.

Probably. All that fabric must've been heavy.

[ well. retaliation. ]

The real world catches up eventually. [ he. pushes luca. gently, but still. splish splash. ]

It might, but I'm still going to enjoy this for now.

[It will catch up when he DIES.

But for now he's going to get pushed, and then he retaliates by pushing at Yuri. Dumb boys playing in the water eyyyyy]
