See, I was just thinking that too. Which is why we should wander through a simulation of somewhere new, I think.

I did, actually. Though if you have somewhere you would rather go, I'm open to suggestions.

By all means, lead the way then. I'd just be bringing up the monastery again, so it's not like I have any other grand ideas.

It's a lot of stray cats and stone. But sure, we can double up.

There were dogs too. I think they just congregated there? We have a small marketplace there, and a fishing spot so I expect they found it a good place to get food. My teacher definitely ran around feeding them whenever she could.

[Luca can't relate, he doesn't like animals. But he'll keep the conversation going!]

You must have seen her at it, huh?

That, or she took it upon herself to mother them. Never really could tell with her.

[ luca your dislike of cute animals ]

Yeah. I think most people did? She'd fish down at the fishing lake and then go around distributing what she caught to the animals and the kitchens. Like I said, never could really tell what was going on her mind half the time.

She sounds like an interesting individual. You must have learned a lot from her.

[I'm sobbing at his canon dislike of animals, it's for such a stupid reason too.]

I guess so. Like I said, she's an interesting woman. She was a mercenary and I'm pretty sure she got the job teaching by some strange twist of fate. One day they had one teacher in place, and suddenly they were gone and she was there -- just after someone tried to kill the heads of the houses as well.

It was all probably connected, but unfortunately I didn't see what happened directly to figure it out.

That certainly sounds like quite the plan there, if they are connected. I wonder how one goes from 'mercenary' to 'teacher', of all things.

Pure chance, I'd assume. Rumour has it she got the job offer from the head of the Church of Seiros herself.

Talk about being in the right place at the right time, huh? If you believe she did intervene and save all the future leaders of Fodlan at once.

It sounds nice, but the skeptic in me has trouble believing in that kind of luck. Hopefully that doesn't mean someone is manipulating the situation to get her into trouble.

But oh hey, they're at the simulation room! And that means it's time to pull up a simulation of the beach!]

Who knows. She can probably handle it, if someone was. She does know what she's talking about.

[ he blinks when everything changes into a beach scene, lifting his arm to shield his ears from the fake sunshine blazing down on them. ]

... Where's this?

It's a beach. One of the ones we used to visit when I was growing up, actually. For a month or so every summer we would stay in the apartments over there-

[He points to one of the buildings further up the coastline.]

-and come down to the waters all the time. I haven't been in years though, not since I finished school.

[ he squints through the shade provided by his arm at the apartments luca points to, and then back out at the water. ]

... I'm not sure if I've ever been to the beach. I've heard of how pretty the ocean is, but it must be nice visiting somewhere like this regularly.

We could even put some swimsuits on and go in the water.

Better than nothing, especially while we're stuck here.

[ he glances over at luca with a slight laugh. ] I'm not against the idea.

Now I just have to figure out how to make it change our clothes...

[Can they poof clothes? Hopefully. Because Luca is about to look fabulous. ]

I guess just wish really hard to find out, you might need you hand on the panel for it though.

[ hopefully so, that's what I'm going with. fe mobile game says that fire emblems have normal swimsuits though so... ]

[Touching the panel is a go, as is a horrible striped swimsuit. It's unsexy but Luca accepts it as the norm for swimwear.]

I know it's rather pointless, given how we've seen each other naked before, but it would feel odd to not have a swimsuit on at the beach.

I'm sure some people have swum nude in the past, Luca. [ but he's in his swim wear, so... ]

But if it's the norm, I'll stick to the norm.
